Part-Time House Manager / Household Assistant (Santa Monica, CA)

About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and friendly House Manager / Household Assistant to help maintain a warm, organized, and well-run home in Santa Monica. MUST live with a 25 minute commute of Memorial Park in Santa Monica.
This is a part-time, in-person role — perfect for someone who enjoys cooking simple meals, staying organized, and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes.
Responsibilities
- Meal prep and light cooking — follow simple recipes, chop vegetables, prepare weekly meals/snacks.
- House tidying & light cleaning — keep common areas neat and organized (no deep cleaning).
- Running errands — handle tasks such as Amazon returns, dry cleaning pickup/drop-off, grocery runs, etc.
- Laundry assistance — wash, fold, and organize clothing and linens.
Schedule
- 1 day per week (Saturday or Sunday afternoons)
- Approximately 3–5 hours per week, for a total of 12–20 hours per month
- Flexible start time
Requirements
- Must have a car and valid driver’s license
- Must live within a 25 minute commute of Memorial Park in Santa Monica
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Enjoys cooking and keeping a home tidy
- Can follow instructions and manage tasks independently
- Comfortable with pets
Compensation
- $25–$30/hour, depending on experience
