<Overview>
Join our vibrant team as a Server in one of the area's most popular restaurants. We are looking for servers with a friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and passion for hospitality that will create memorable moments that keep guests coming back.
<Responsibilities>
- Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities to enhance their experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system TOAST
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
- Handle food preparation, food handling, and sanitation standards to maintain safety and quality standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately while processing payments efficiently
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
- Utilize reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and manage guest flow effectively
<Qualifications>
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as TOAST
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations gracefully
- Culinary experience or background in food preparation is advantageous
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory checks
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred but not required; a positive attitude and team spirit are essential
