Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive music curricula aligned with grade-level standards, incorporating diverse genres and teaching methods
- Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that enhance students’ musical skills, literacy, and appreciation for the arts
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students with disabilities or special education requirements, ensuring an inclusive classroom environment
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies
- Foster a collaborative classroom atmosphere that encourages creativity, self-expression, and teamwork among students
Experience
- Prior classroom experience teaching music to K-8 students in a school setting is highly preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education settings is preferred
- Proven classroom management skills combined with excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
