Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchaser to join our procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, products, and services essential to our operations. Duties
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, purchasing, and contract negotiations with vendors.
- Utilize ERP systems such as M1, or equivalent platforms to process purchase orders, track inventory levels, and analyze procurement data.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contractual terms that benefit the organization.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships through regular communication and performance evaluations to ensure quality and reliability.
- Monitor inventory levels using materials management techniques and coordinate logistics to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Analyze Excel data and spreadsheets for procurement trends, pricing analysis, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Support inventory management strategies by implementing effective inventory control measures within supply chain operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience with ERP systems, M1 or ECI is a positive but not required.
- Strong knowledge of materials management, supply chain management, and purchasing management systems that are technically supported.
- Excellent vendor communication skills with a focus on negotiation and relationship building.
- Proficiency in Excel data analysis, spreadsheets, and accounting software for procurement tracking.
- Understanding of MRP (Material Requirements Planning), logistics coordination, and sourcing strategies within a supply chain context.
- Ability to manage contracts effectively while supporting direct negotiation procurement processes.
