Job Overview
We are seeking a chef to develop and prepare meals at our Detox facility located in Ranchita, CA. The facility has 12 clients and associated staff, approximately 20 individuals.
Duties
- Manage inventory control and food management processes, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste.
- Develop innovative menus in collaboration with management, incorporating dietary considerations and seasonal ingredients.
- Knowledge of dietary department practices and catering operations.
- Experience with inventory management, cost control, and kitchen management systems.
- Familiarity with food safety protocols including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling techniques.
- Previous restaurant or hospitality management experience is highly desirable.
Pay: $22.50 - $27.00 per hour
