Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Form Carpenter Foreman to lead and oversee construction Water and Wastewater projects . This role also requires hands on skills as you work along side your W & O Team. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, extensive construction site experience, and a thorough understanding of construction management software and safety regulations. As a Foreman, you will coordinate crews, interpret drawings, and ensure adherence to all federal and local construction regulations, including OSHA standards. Your leadership will drive project success from planning through execution.
Duties
- Lead, supervise and work with W & O team on concrete and piping and all necessary task to complete the Water and Wastewater Project, and ensuring work is performed efficiently, safely, and according to project specifications. Must be able to shoot grade, measure accurately cut wood bracing, wooden edge forms. Climb ladders, wear fall protection devices and work on scaffolding, pour and finish concrete, use electric saws and drills, rebar
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to guide team activities and verify accuracy during installation
- Manage daily site operations, including safety compliance with OSHA and federal construction safety regulations
- Review construction drawings regularly for quality control and coordinate with superintendents for clarifications
- Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction with a focus on concrete and pipeline projects
Prefer applicants with experience in wall sleeves and piping, formed blockouts, anchor bolts, and water stops of all types
- Strong knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards (OSHA), and quality control procedures
- Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and managing construction schedules with Primavera P6 or Primavera software
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
- Experience supervising crews on large-scale projects involving pipelines or heavy civil infrastructure
- Excellent communication skills for managing subcontractors, clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters for electrical quality checks when necessary
- Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment.
