Architectural Millwork Drafter
We are a well-established millwork manufacturer near Boston and are seeking to add a CAD drafter to its team. Ideal candidates should have 2-4 years commercial millwork drafting experience .
This is an in-house position (no remote work).
Salary: $55k - $65k, based on experience
Responsibilities include:
- Read and interpret architectural drawings
- Develop and submit shop drawings for approval
- Proactively identify and address issues in design drawings with project managers
- Execute timely and accurate design drawings to maintain the manufacturing/fabrication schedule as well as the program schedule.
Requirements:
- Experience in commercial millwork/cabinet drafting is a MUST
- Proficient AUTOCAD skills
- Ability to produce submittal drawings
- Proficient with MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to read and translate architectural drawings and/or sketches into shop drawings for manufacture
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
