Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our current maintenance individual. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible to assist in maintaining proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. This is a vital role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, both inside and out.
Responsibilities:
- Snow removal (shoveling & plowing)
- Carpentry puzzling and implementing
- Maple Sugaring duties
- Trail maintenance (chain saw, weed whacking, brush chipping, etc.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: repairing machinery, and systems; troubleshooting issues; and conducting preventive maintenance.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Fabricate or repair building and parts as needed.
Experience:
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, "fixing things".
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Carpentry skills needed
-Valid Drivers License required
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
