Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a spotless environment.
- Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces throughout the hotel.
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, linens, and other supplies to meet guest needs efficiently.
- Maintain public areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by cleaning and organizing to uphold the hotel’s high standards of presentation.
- Follow established janitorial procedures for waste disposal, cleaning chemicals usage, and equipment handling to promote safety and efficiency.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all cleaning tasks to protect yourself and guests alike.
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred; familiarity with hospitality environments enhances your ability to excel in this role.
- Hands-on experience with cleaning techniques such as floor care (including industrial cleaning methods) and general janitorial practices is advantageous.
- Knowledge of hotel operations or hospitality industry standards helps in understanding guest expectations and maintaining service quality.
- Experience managing or supervising housekeeping teams (housekeeping management) is a plus but not required.
