Mental Health Therapist
Active Illinois License Required. Masters Degree Required.
Pay rate dependent on licensure status (provisional vs full license).
Daytime In-office availability necessary 2-3 days per week and remote availability 1-2 evenings/partial weekend days
In this role, the licensed therapist will provide therapy using evidence-based approaches to assess, diagnose, and service clients, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care in this outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapy to clients, focusing on their unique circumstances and challenges.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver counseling services when appropriate, ensuring accessibility for all patients.
- Determine appropriate, accurate diagnoses and maintain accurate medical records according to best practice insurance and professional standards.
- Collaborate and coordinate care as necessary
- Document all clinical interactions and maintain compliance with medical documentation standards.
- Stay informed about best practices, research, and quality standards to effectively support clientele.
- Complete regular reports, outreach, and other administrative tasks correlated with client care.
Experience
- Theoretical/evidence-based approaches knowledge and experience.
- Proven experience in clinical counseling or related fields is essential.
- Familiarity with telehealth practices.
- Strong skills in assessment and diagnostic evaluation are required.
- Very strong documentation skills necessary.
- Experience with medical records management and documentation practices is necessary for maintaining compliance.
- High familiarity with ethical standards and community standards.

- How many client appointments are you interested in completing per week on average? All providers must complete a minimum of 13 appts per week.
- In-office hours are required 2-3 weekdays plus telehealth 1-2 evenings OR weekend day (1/2 day). Are you able to work these hours upon hire?
All evening and weekend appts can be telehealth, unless the provider prefers to be in office for those.
