Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Cocinero con experiencia to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Assist in menu planning and development to ensure variety and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Participate in food presentation and garnishing to enhance visual appeal
- Support catering events and special functions as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service
- Manage inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure smooth workflow
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or catering setting
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning, fine dining, or culinary arts is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
