We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager and serve as a key liaison between the field and office. This role helps drive project success by supporting planning, execution, scheduling, budgeting, communication, and overall project coordination.
What You’ll Do
- Support senior project management on active electrical construction projects
- Help keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with customer expectations
- Coordinate procurement, contracts, staffing, and project milestones
- Assist with financial forecasting, monthly invoicing, and change orders
- Work closely with Superintendents to assess installation methods, labor needs, and manpower forecasts
- Oversee subcontractor coordination and support quality control processes
- Communicate project risks, challenges, and successes in a proactive, timely manner
- Help ensure team members meet deadlines and project deliverables
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of Project Engineer experience in heavy commercial or private electrical construction
- Knowledge of electrical power engineering and construction management practices
- Experience with project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts
- Strong communication, analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build relationships and support profitable project delivery
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management preferred
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license is a plus
