Job Summary
We are a scratch kitchen seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Servers to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with menu recommendations.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining attention to detail.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential.
