About The Role:
As a CBRE VAS First Vice President, you will be responsible for preparing reports on large, complex, and special-use properties.
They are responsible for inspecting and resolving values of land, property, and businesses.
What You'll Do:
Identify the value of a property for estimate. Study the appraisal request and project scope to resolve business solutions.
Collect sophisticated data on the inventory of comparable properties, sales and listings, vacancies, and more. Conduct studies such as land use, supply and demand, marketability, and more. Conduct interviews with collaborators for research.
Prepare appraisal report to describe property characteristics, procedures used, and information evaluated. Disclose assumptions, conditions, and reasoning.
Follow the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, keeping information confidential.
Specialize in outstanding markets and engage in client development.
Connect with clients about appraisal requests, problems to address, and the scope of projects.
Track current real estate values and property development potential. Participate in educational opportunities and professional organizations.
Supply to team goals and mentoring. Be responsible for the team database and assist with business development.
Apply sophisticated knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
Mentor others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.
Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university with 10 years of commercial appraisal experience and 3 years of commercial appraisal review experience. Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. General State Certification or License is required. MAI designation required. Annual production of at least $600,000 is preferred.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Possess sophisticated organizational skills with a curious approach.
Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
