Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to early childhood development standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- establish a positive working relationship with your co-teacher.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes social-emotional well-being, positive behavior management, and inclusive practices for children with special needs or requiring early intervention.
- Engage children in hands-on activities that enhance their cognitive, motor, and language skills while fostering a love for learning.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, ensuring safety and fostering independence among preschoolers through effective classroom management techniques.
- Collaborate with families to communicate student progress, behavior insights, and developmental milestones through regular updates and parent-teacher conferences.
- Support children’s welfare by maintaining a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to childcare regulations and best practices in early childhood education.
Experience
- Prior experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; familiarity with childhood development principles is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with parents, colleagues, and community partners to support student success.
- Classroom experience involving lesson planning, classroom management, and implementing educational activities aligned with preschool standards.
- Previous private school or daycare experience is preferred.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
