We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a reliable person to join our team as a Blaster Trainee / Laborer. The Blaster Trainee / Laborer position will work with the Blaster to layout and load blasts on residential and commercial construction and quarry sites with-in a 70-mile radius of Reading, PA.
The Blaster Trainee / Laborer position has excellent potential for growth and advancement and is well suited to the individual looking to grow their career in the trade industry. Mentoring and training will be provided to the ideal candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Train to become proficient in all areas of blasting techniques
- Assist Blaster with daily tasks, site security, pattern layouts, set up, reporting
- Use basic math and read a tape measure
- Operate skid loader or backhoe
- Read blueprints
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and reliability (this matters more than experience)
- Willingness to learn and work outdoors in all conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stay active all day
- Valid driver’s license
- CDL with HAZMAT endorsement a plus
- Pass an ATF background clearance
- MSHA certification a plus
- Blasters license a plus

Pay: $23.50/hr to $34.00/hr (based on experience) + Overtime
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday + OT as needed, occasional weekends
Location: Jobsites located within a 75-mile radius of Blandon, PA
