About the Role
As an Automation Systems Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical lead for our high-speed robotic material handling environments. You will optimize system performance, spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, and act as the critical link between complex technical operations and cross-functional teams to ensure maximum uptime and operational excellence.
Responsibilities-
Monitor and analyze the health of automated robotic vehicles, vertical lifts, and conveyor adapters to ensure peak performance.

Lead complex troubleshooting efforts for industrial automation systems, identifying root causes to minimize production downtime.

Translate intricate technical data into actionable insights for site teams and stakeholders.

Document system anomalies and collaborate with engineering departments to implement long-term technical solutions.

Mentor and train site operators on warehouse management systems, robotic hardware, and IT infrastructure.

Drive continuous improvement projects to standardize processes and enhance the efficiency of the automation solution.

Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including OSHA standards, LOTO, and fall protection requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Automation, or equivalent technical experience.

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting automated systems.

Proficiency with PLC platforms (Allen Bradley, Siemens) and industrial robotics (ABB).

Experience with software languages such as SQL, Linux, and Python.

Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including heights and varied temperatures.

Strong background in electromechanical system integration and repair.

Proven ability to manage changing priorities under pressure with a high sense of urgency.

Experience in a customer-facing role providing technical support and training.

Familiarity with warehouse management software and complex IT troubleshooting.
