Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures using computer systems and data entry tools
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments via phone and electronic communication channels
- Maintain accurate patient records by entering data efficiently and securely into medical databases
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Communicate clearly with medical staff regarding patient needs, appointment updates, and follow-up instructions
- Demonstrate proficient phone etiquette when handling calls from patients, vendors, or insurance companies
- Support medical office operations by managing incoming correspondence, organizing files, and assisting with administrative tasks
Experience
- Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment is preferred but not require
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency with data entry
- Outstanding communication skills in English
- Clear, strong voice
- Demonstrated customer service expertise with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to analyze information quickly and accurately to prioritize tasks and resolve issues efficiently
