Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Hotel Housekeeper at the Element Charleston Airport, right next to the Tanger Outlets, where your dedication to cleanliness and hospitality excellence will elevate guest experiences. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, polishing floors, and ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Use specialized floor care equipment for stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing various flooring types to preserve their appearance and longevity.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning tasks to ensure a safe environment for yourself and guests.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs and uphold property standards.
- Assist with inventory management by organizing cleaning supplies and equipment for easy access and efficient workflow.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles within hospitality environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques, including floor care and industrial cleaning methods.
- Knowledge of janitorial supplies, equipment operation, and safety procedures related to industrial cleaning tasks.
- Experience managing housekeeping operations or supervising a team is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while adhering to safety guidelines.
