Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The role is responsible for general warehouse functions; inventory movement, cutting and staging inventory, installer load-out, miscellaneous labor along with local deliveries.
- Cut and stage carpet, pad, and vinyl
- Assist with installer load-out and various installation problems that develop
- Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
- Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
- Scheduling of warehouse operations; dumpster pulls, ordering propane for forklifts, etc.
- Local delivery of materials to job sites
The ideal candidate must be:
- Highly organized
- A quick learner
- Able to multitask and prioritize
- Able to work independently as well as with a team
- Dependable and willing to take initiative
- Proficient in warehouse procedures and best practices
All candidates must:
- Have warehouse experience
- Have a valid driver's license
- Be able to drive a forklift
- Be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds with the ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Pass pre-employment background check
