Axial Concepts is a manufacturing company that is looking to expand our team. We offer CNC machining, fabrication, engineering, and powder coating for a variety of clients across KC. We are looking for several Welder/Fabricator to assist in production on 2 different shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Weld assemblies to print specifications
- Prototype new assemblies
- Quality inspect components after/during fabrication
- Grinds welds as needed
- Work with our Production Manager to maintain a steady workflow
- Communicate effectively within a small team environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years welding experience required
- Must be able to operate a MIG setup
- Experience reading engineering drawings
- Ability to work independently and take direction
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to lift 50lb
- Forklift experience preferred
Schedule:
- 1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm
- 2nd shift 3:30pm-11:00pm
Salary:
- Commensurate upon experience & shift differential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
