Dey Distributing is an established and successful appliance and HVAC parts company seeking a reliable, friendly Call Center Associate. To perform this job you must be comfortable with computers, answering phones, have great customer service skills, and work well with others. The position is a Monday through Friday day shift and rotating half days on Saturdays.

Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a team to provide exceptional customer service
- Establish and maintain positive rapport with customers by providing friendly, prompt, and courteous service
- Act as a point of contact for customers—providing quotes, assisting with order placement, handling order status inquiries, and assisting with other customer concerns
- Sell parts, equipment, tools, accessories, materials, and supplies to customers
- Receive and fill telephone and website orders effectively—prepare sales invoices, communicate accurate delivery information utilizing the company database system, and complete any necessary paperwork for warranties as directed
- Stay up-to-date on parts and products by attending product meetings, technical trainings, and educational sessions
- Maintain, organize, clean, and stock storeroom shelves; assist in organization of parts, equipment, and product displays
- Perform other responsibilities as requested by the Customer Service Manager
Required Qualifications:
- Customer service experience
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Time-management and organizational skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail
- A willingness to learn
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ASW and IBM notes computer systems
- Prior experience in HVAC, hearth products, or parts sales
- Prior call center experience

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
