MEDICAL/RESEARCH ASSISTANT
We are seeking an experienced, bilingual Medical Assistant to join our Medical Research team. The ideal candidate will be confident, detail oriented, and able to multitask in a fast paced environment. Must have experience in physician’s office working with patients. This position may lead to a Full-Time Position.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS for Medical/Research Assistant:
- Performs clinical functions according to protocol including, but not limited to, measuring vitals, phlebotomy, ecg procedures, collecting medical history, interviewing patients, and recording information on eSource documents
- Assists Research Coordinator with patient recruitment and marketing
- Maintain regulatory binders, both paper and electronic
EDUCATION/SKILL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS for Medical/Research Assistant:
- MA certificate /LPN license/RN license
- Minimum of 1+ years MA Experience in Medical Practice or Research Clinic
- Experience with ECG procedures, taking vital signs, and drawing and processing lab samples
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal)
- Strong attention to detail and timeliness
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent organization skills required
- Knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel and business related software
- Thorough knowledge of medical terminology
- English and Spanish speaking required
Salary will be based upon level of experience.
