We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician for the second shift at our southside location convenient to I-295. We are seeking an Assembly Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will perform all job duties assigned including repetitive hand assembly and product packaging under the direction of the Team Leader & Production Manager.
Essential Job Functions:
·Responsible for assembling all parts to manufacture product
Follow written procedures to assemble product
· Operate pneumatic presses
· Pull and package parts
· Operate hand-held power tools such as electric screwdrivers, drill presses, etc.
· Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.
· Keep work area and facility clean
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Good agility - the ability to assemble small parts
- Accurate counting skills
- Basic computer skills
- Mechanical/electronic assembly skills
- Must be able to safely operate machinery as instructed
- Must be punctual and dependable
- Work as a team member
- Work efficiently and accurately
Preferred Skills:
- Mechanical/electronic assembly experience
- Soldering skills are a plus
Working Conditions
- Will work in a well-lighted, heated/air-conditioned indoor production assembly environment with adequate ventilation; occasional warehouse and exposure to weather conditions
- Shift schedule is: 4:30 pm - 3:00 a.m.
Physical Requirements
- A combination of standing and sitting for long periods of time, lifting, and walking
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to communicate clearly through speech, vision, and hearing
