Wound Care Specialist – Salt Lake Area, Utah (Full-Time)

What You’ll Do
- Deliver expert wound assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing management in outpatient, inpatient, and home-based care.
- Partner with a multidisciplinary dream team physicians & nurses to drive optimal outcomes.
- Be a patient educator: teach dressing techniques, infection prevention, nutrition, and self-care skills that foster lasting healing.
Your Daily Impact
- Perform detailed wound measurements and documentation in the EMR (your charting game is strong).
- Select the right treatments whether that’s an advanced biologic, or the perfect off-loading strategy.
- Track healing progress and fine-tune care plans based on evidence-based best practices.
- Spot infection risk early and escalate care appropriately.
- Communicate with referring providers and support seamless care coordination.
What You Bring
- Active or eligible NP license in Utah.
- Prior wound care experience preferred. Willing to train the right person. (bonus points for WOCN, CWS, or WCC certification).
- Confident clinical judgment, attention to detail, and comfort working independently or in a team.
- Fantastic communication and documentation skills—you make complex care clear.
