About the Role
As an Automated Systems Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the peak performance of advanced robotic material handling systems. You will focus on maximizing system uptime and throughput by performing proactive maintenance, troubleshooting complex mechanical issues, and ensuring a safe, efficient operational environment.
Responsibilities-
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA compliance while managing automated storage and retrieval workflows.

Monitor system health via Human/Machine Interface (HMI) to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or stoppages.

Execute routine system inspections, including cleaning, lubrication, and component calibration to ensure long-term equipment reliability.

Perform hands-on recovery and maintenance of robotic units, including sensor adjustments and mechanical repairs.

Analyze recurring system faults to implement corrective actions and drive continuous process improvements.

Collaborate with technical teams to support system availability and assist in complex breakdown resolutions.

Prepare materials for induction into the automated system to maintain steady production flow.

Communicate operational status and potential issues to leadership to minimize downtime and optimize throughput.
Qualifications-
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or automated system stoppages.

Experience performing preventative maintenance on complex machinery, including electrical and mechanical components.

Capacity to work in restrictive environments and at heights up to 45 feet.

Physical capability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for extended shifts.

Strong analytical skills with a focus on root cause identification.

Prior experience in a high-volume automated warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in using HMI software for system monitoring and recovery.

Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining high productivity standards.
