Responsibilities:
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Maintain a strong understanding of contract documents, including all revisions throughout preconstruction and construction.
2. Establish and manage processes for updating as-built drawings, including subcontractor and field redlines.
3. Manage document control logs (RFIs, submittals, ASIs, change orders).
4. Interpret drawings and specifications to support field teams and craft supervision.
5. Review submittals for compliance with contract requirements.
6. Prepare, review, and distribute RFIs; validate subcontractor RFIs before submission to design teams.
7. Maintain project logs and tracking systems (materials, inspections, concrete placement, non-conformance).
8. Document and distribute meeting minutes for OAC and subcontractor coordination meetings.
9. Support subcontractor coordination meetings and documentation.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Project Engineer position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in civil construction in a project / field engineering role.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering or 2+ years of civil construction experience..
3. Complete project-specific and equipment safety training as required.
