RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of the Associate Executive Director, the Director of Clinical Services is responsible for the management and general administration of the Clinical Services Department, which includes the specialty areas of Behavior, Intake, Medical/Dental, Nursing, and Psychology. The Director provides leadership, oversight, and guidance to Clinical Services staff, including the development and delivery of professional training and consultation to Client Services personnel. This role also fosters collaboration with community partners and interdisciplinary providers to support the behavioral, medical, nursing, psychological, dental, and nutrition and wellness needs of clients, ensuring coordinated, person-centered service delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a Master’s Degree, or equivalent in, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Healthcare Management, or a related field of study. Five (5) years of professional experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility, scope, and complexity over time, including a minimum of three (3) years in a senior management or executive leadership role. Demonstrated experience working effectively within multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver complex services. Requires strong knowledge, skills, and applied experience in the field of developmental disabilities, including service systems, client needs, and best practices in care and support.
OTHER
Knowledge of the principles of and practices of management and supervision, including staff development, performance management and organizational leadership. Knowledge of the regional center system, and its role in coordinating services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Understanding of interdisciplinary team organization and collaborative service delivery models. Familiarity with applicable state and federal regulations governing developmental disabilities services, as well as current trends, and innovations in the delivery of specialized clinical and support services. Communicate clearly and effectively with professionals across multiple disciplines to support collaboration, problem-solving, and high-quality outcomes for individuals served.
STARTING SALARY
$10,418 to $16,007 monthly
