Const. Project Manager - Civil Details:
-
Direct Hire position
-
$80,000.00 to $105,000.00 /annually
-
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)
-
Manage all phases of civil construction projects from contract award through final project closeout.

Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to determine project scope, schedule requirements, and resource needs.

Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules and overall project performance.

Create and manage project budgets, manpower plans, and sequencing of work.

Review contractor pay applications, approve invoices, and collaborate with accounting on job cost analysis and forecasting.

Oversee pre-construction activities, including purchase orders, subcontract agreements, project setup, and project planning.

Coordinate with Superintendents to schedule labor, equipment, and material deliveries.

Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project records.

Establish and maintain strong working relationships with owners, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and project stakeholders.

Ensure projects comply with applicable safety standards, regulatory requirements, and contract specifications.

Secure permits and ensure project compliance throughout the construction process.

Direct and oversee project closeout activities, including punch lists, final billings, turnover documentation, and project completion requirements.
Const. Project Manager - Civil Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Previous Project Management experience within the civil construction industry.

Experience managing heavy highway, roadway, bridge, or other civil infrastructure projects.

Experience with cost forecasting, project controls, and job cost reporting.

Experience supervising Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, or field personnel.

Strong knowledge of heavy highway construction methods, DOT specifications, and field operations.

Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and project financials.

Experience overseeing projects from pre-construction through closeout.

Proficiency with construction management and project management software.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
