Bailey Holdings is seeking an experienced Master HVAC Technician or Journeyman HVAC Technician to support our HVAC division in servicing residential, commercial, and institutional properties throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area.
We are looking for a dependable, solutions-oriented professional with strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship and customer service.
Position Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including:
- RTUs
- Split systems
- Heat pumps
- Boilers
- Chillers
- Package units
- VRF/VRV systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical issues
- Install and replace HVAC equipment and components
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and building codes
- Maintain accurate service records and work orders
- Coordinate with property management and operations teams
- Assist with spot cooler deployment and temporary cooling solutions when necessary
Qualifications
- Master HVAC License or Journeyman HVAC License (DC, Maryland, or Virginia preferred)
- EPA Certification required
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC service experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of commercial and residential HVAC systems
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work after-hours and emergency calls as needed
