Why are we hiring?
Palmer Soderberg, Inc. is seeking an experienced truck driver to join our team and work with our Ceramic Tile department.
Truck Driver Job responsibilities and skills:
Essential Functions/Qualifications:
- Able to lift 75+ lbs.
- The ability to inspect trucks daily and verify that they are loaded and secured properly when leaving the shop in accordance with Company and D.O.T. standards.
- The ability to unload, protect, move, and stage materials as specified by customer directive.
- Strong Customer Service.
- A safe driving record.
- Basic understanding and knowledge of operation of box trucks, and flatbed trucks.
- Basic understanding and knowledge of construction materials. Prefer: knowledge about ceramic tile.
- Additional training such as Pallet jack, Forklift, and other specified equipment may be required but can be obtained post hire.
- Health card will be needed and can be obtained post hire.
- Other duties may be assigned.
