Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. Your role will involve supervising and engaging children in various activities to promote their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
Duties:
- Provide attentive care and supervision to children in our facility
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's learning and development
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment where children can thrive
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and diaper changing as needed
- Monitor children's behavior and implement appropriate behavior management techniques when necessary
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a cohesive team environment
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Skills:
- Experience working with children of various ages (infants, toddlers, preschoolers)
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for children
- Ability to educate and engage children through age-appropriate activities
- Familiarity with classroom management strategies
- Previous experience in a daycare or preschool setting is a plus
