Job Summary
An employee who performs any and all functions connected with the storage and distribution of inventory supplies.
Essential Functions
- JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES: Demonstrates the required job specific technical/professional knowledge, skills and abilities. * 1. STAT requests per pre-arranged schedule. 2. Loads replenishment/Exchange Carts per pre-arranged schedule, returning all delivery carts to storeroom. 3. Documents all items delivered to units on green bar sheets that are turned in daily for proper recording. Stores products in a neat and orderly fashion. 4. Re-stocks and maintains orderly work area assigned in storeroom on a daily basis. 5. Breaks down cartons and cleans work area prior to end of shift. 6. Ability to perform inquiry functions, using the hospital information system to expedite deliveries and requests. 7. Participates in quality improvement teams taking an active role towards fulfillment of teams. 8. Maintains safe and orderly work area and work practices. 9. Performs such other duties as may be assigned, and in whatever capacity necessary as directed from time to time.
