Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Daycare Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring they are developmentally appropriate and aligned with curriculum standards.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and other core subjects tailored to various age groups including toddlers and preschoolers.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to create a safe and respectful environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong home-school partnerships.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff, promoting teamwork and professional growth within the classroom.
- Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws, health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR certifications.
- Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention practices to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Maintain accurate records of child development progress, assessments, attendance, and standardized testing results.
- Foster a love of learning through creative activities that promote childhood development instruction across cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language domains.
Experience
- Proven teaching experience working with young children in daycare or preschool settings.
- Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and child welfare practices.
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws, health & safety protocols including first aid and CPR certifications.
- Prior experience in private school or daycare environments is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and community partners.
- Hands-on experience teaching physical education or integrating literacy education into daily activities is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
