Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in pool maintenance and repair. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that pools are clean, safe, and functioning properly. This role requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and customer service abilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of residential and commercial pools.
- Inspect pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical feeders for proper operation.
- Conduct repairs on pool equipment as needed, utilizing hand tools and power tools.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed on each pool.
- Communicate with clients regarding maintenance schedules, repairs needed, and any additional services offered.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while performing all tasks.
- Troubleshoot issues related to pool systems and recommend solutions.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for pool maintenance.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in maintenance tasks.
- Previous experience as a service technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of pool maintenance practices including cleaning techniques and chemical balancing.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while servicing multiple locations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
