Expected Total Compensation: $60,000-$85,000+ Annually

We are seeking an Excavation Field Supervisor to lead excavation sales opportunities while serving as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle. This role combines field leadership, customer consultation, estimating, and project coordination for residential excavation and underground utility projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with sales experience who enjoys working directly with homeowners, contractors, and field teams. Plumbing knowledge is highly valued but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who possesses strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to build trust with customers.
Expected earnings of $60,000-$85,000+ annually through base salary and commissions

Meet with homeowners and customers to evaluate excavation and underground utility needs
Generate estimates and present excavation solutions
Build trust with customers and guide them through the sales process
Coordinate projects between customers, office staff, and field crews
Conduct site visits and gather project information
Assist with scheduling and project logistics
Monitor project progress and ensure customer satisfaction
Identify additional opportunities for excavation, sewer, water line, and related services
Support crews in maintaining safety and quality standards
Help drive revenue growth through consultative sales and excellent customer service
Previous sales experience required
Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
Ability to explain technical information in a customer-friendly manner
Experience in excavation, construction, plumbing, utilities, or related industries preferred
Plumbing knowledge is a strong plus
Ability to read project scopes, measurements, and job requirements
Strong organizational and follow-through skills
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Comfortable working both in the field and in customer-facing environments
