Position Overview:
The Warehouse Clerk plays a key role in the daily operations of the warehouse by supporting receiving, shipping, and inventory functions. This individual is responsible for ensuring that all incoming and outgoing materials are processed accurately and efficiently, maintaining proper documentation, and safely operate a forklift when required. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving:

Verify and review incoming documentation (e.g., Certificates of Analysis, packing slips) for accuracy.

Approve and schedule incoming deliveries via OpenDock once proper documentation is received.

Request purchase orders and communicate receiving information to the Customer Experience team.

Accurately process receipts in the ERP system and maintain digital records of all documents.

Inspect incoming materials for quality and report discrepancies within 24 hours; submit Non-Conformance Reports when needed.
Shipping:

Prepare and verify outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and packaging.

Create and manage shipping labels, BOLs, and packing lists.

Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and ensure timely delivery.

Update shipping information in the ERP system and communicate with relevant departments.
Forklift Operation & Inventory Support:

Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

Perform internal transfers of materials and organize inventory in designated storage areas.

Conduct regular equipment checks and follow all safety procedures.

Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits to support warehouse accuracy.
General Duties:

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.

Work flexible hours including weekends and overtime as required.

Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:

1–2 years of warehouse experience (receiving, shipping, inventory control).

Experience with purchase orders, ERP systems, and warehouse documentation.

Valid forklift certification and hands-on forklift experience.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Effective verbal and written communication skills in English (bilingual is a plus).

Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft Office)

Basic math skills and ability to use a computer/tablet for data entry.

Ability to work 5–6 days a week, including overtime as needed.
