Part-Time Local Marketing & Community Outreach Associate
Location: Chicago (in-person)
Hours: ~10 hours/week (flexible, project-based) 25-30 hours a month
Pay: $30/hour
Role Overview
We’re looking for a confident, outgoing, and memorable part-time marketing associate to represent our car wash throughout the local community.
This role is ideal for someone with natural assertiveness, a great smile, and a personality people remember—someone who is comfortable walking into businesses, starting conversations, and asking for partnerships without hesitation.
You will be the face of our brand in the neighborhood.
What You’ll Do
Community Outreach & Relationship Building (Primary Focus)
- Walk into local fast food, quick-service restaurants, coffee shops, and neighborhood businesses
- Confidently introduce yourself and our car wash
- Ask for permission to place brochures or promotional materials at the counter
- Build quick, positive relationships with managers and staff
- Follow up to maintain strong ongoing partnerships
Local Partnerships & Promotions
- Coordinate with gas stations to display advertising or promotional signage
- Support promotions with larger partners (e.g., Costco and similar businesses)
- Help identify new partnership opportunities in the area
Brand Ambassador Role
- Represent the brand with confidence, warmth, and professionalism
- Communicate promotions clearly and enthusiastically
- Leave people with a positive impression—they remember you and the brand
Light Social Media Support
- Capture simple photos or short videos during outreach
- Assist with posting or coordinating local social content
- Share real-world feedback on what messaging resonates
