MyCharm Lab is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and qualified Child Care and Academic Tutoring Specialists to support the educational, executive function, and developmental needs of students across all age groups.
In this role, you will foster a nurturing, high-energy environment that promotes interactive learning, confidence, and academic success. Your responsibilities will include designing engaging lesson plans, adapting teaching methods to diverse learning styles, and providing personalized support through both in-person care and virtual instruction platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum & Lesson Planning: Design and implement tailored learning activities covering early childhood development, foundational literacy, and subject-specific tutoring (Mathematics, Science, and English Language Arts).
- Virtual & Hybrid Instruction: Deliver interactive online tutoring and academic coaching sessions using modern digital learning technologies and virtual whiteboards.
- Instructional Adaptation: Adapt teaching strategies and pacing to accommodate various learning styles, developmental milestones, and special education requirements.
- Targeted Academic Support: Provide structured tutoring sessions, academic remediation, and test preparation (including SAT prep) to boost student confidence and performance.
- Classroom & Behavior Management: Establish clear expectations, foster an inclusive environment, and apply positive guidance techniques for children from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Parent & Family Collaboration: Partner effectively with parents, guardians, and educational specialists to monitor student progress, share updates, and adjust learning goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience working with children in educational, classroom, or formal childcare settings, including lesson planning and classroom management.
- Subject Competency: Strong ability to tutor in elementary/middle school subjects, early childhood education, high school math/science, or standardized test prep.
- Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with online instruction tools, virtual meeting platforms, and educational technologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting progress reports, creating instructional materials, and engaging with families.
- Qualities: Exceptional patience, creativity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to supporting students of all ages and backgrounds.
