Role Description
The Service Dispatcher / Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Oklahoma City, OK. This position is responsible for answering inbound calls, gathering service details, and scheduling plumbing and HVAC technicians for customer appointments. The role includes dispatching technicians according to skill set, location, and priority, while updating schedules and work orders throughout the day. The Service Dispatcher / Coordinator maintains ongoing communication with PM's, field staff and customers, provides status updates, and helps resolve scheduling conflicts or urgent service requests. This role also involves recording accurate information in service software, verifying customer information, and supporting overall office operations to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
- Required 2+ years prior experience in plumbing, mechanical, construction, or other related service industries.
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and a focus on Customer Satisfaction.
- Clear and professional Communication abilities, with excellent phone etiquette.
- Experience with dispatching or coordinating field service teams, including managing schedules and work orders.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft applications and ability to learn service management or scheduling software.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Oklahoma City, OK and collaborate effectively with technicians and office staff.
- Required High School Diploma or GED
