Licensed Vocational Nurse
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across various settings. What you’ll do
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations and perform procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, and wound care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
- Support patients with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s care, and memory care needs.
Basic qualifications
- Valid LVN license in the state of practice.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient assessment techniques.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in critical care settings such as ICU or emergency medicine.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems like Epic or Cerner.
- Background in geriatrics, hospice care, or pediatric nursing is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation.
