We are seeking an in-house sales representative with extensive experience in the fashion and apparel industry, as well as strong established relationships with retail buyers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with existing retail buyers to increase sales
- Identify and develop new accounts and buyers
- Present seasonal collections and secure purchase orders
- Collaborate closely with design, production, and merchandising teams
- Analyze sales performance and manage customer accounts
- Attend trade shows and buyer meetings
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of sales experience in the apparel/fashion industry
- Existing retail buyer network preferred
- Strong understanding of apparel production and merchandising
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Goal-oriented, proactive, and highly motivated
- Experience in private label and brand business preferred
- Must have current or recent direct working experience with buyers at retail brands
- Proven track record of opening and growing specialty retail accounts preferred
