Travel RN - Med/Surg Tele

Job Details

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Tele unit with a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency required.

Night shift schedule: 3x12s, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Every other weekend required; holiday coverage as needed
Floating may be required across all system facilities
Unit is tele-capable but serves a primarily Med/Surg patient population
Patient population includes observation, respiratory, general medical/surgical, palliative, end-of-life, hospice, psychiatric observation, and diabetic patients, as well as surgical and surgical observation patients
Epic EMR used; experience is mandatory

Active NC or compact RN license required
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify
Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Copy of driver's license required for consideration

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding, with two attempts allowed; candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
Previous Charge RN experience is preferred
Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
