Our client is a Northwell Health affiliated revenue management company. They are searching for a Medical Biller to join their growing team in Chappaqua, NY.
Hybrid Role:
- In-office: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
- Remote: Monday and Wednesday (must have your own system with secure Wi-Fi)
- Monday- Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm
Compensation: $27/hr, based on experience
As a vital part of the billing operations team, you'll:
- Reviews insurance payments for accuracy based on agreed upon fee schedules
- Prepares and sends appeals for underpaid or incorrectly denied claims
- Makes follow up calls to insurance carriers on outstanding balances
- Answers patient telephone calls during business hours
- Completes other daily tasks as assigned
What You Bring:
- 2 years medical billing experience, including filing claim appeals (required)
- Strong Anesthesia Billing Preferred
- Sharp attention to detail & top-notch organizational skills
- Confident verbal and written communication abilities
- Self-motivated with the discipline to work independently on remote days
