Riptide Delivery Logistics LLC: We are looking for a Delivery Driver to join our team and help us provide excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for picking up and delivering packages in a timely manner, following all safety protocols, and ensuring that all packages are handled with care. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to follow directions accurately.
Delivery Driver Requirements:
We provide on-the-job training so that all of our employees feel confident on the road and the doorsteps of customers. Our main priority is drivers that we can trust to drive safely and deliver on time.
- Eligible to work in the U.S
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Have a valid driver's license within the state of employment with clean driving record
- No CDL or Experience required
- Consent to a drug test
- Be able to operate and navigate a delivery van, weighing 10,000 lbs. or less (you do not need to provide your own vehicle)
- Be able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds during a 10-hour work shift
- Be able to use handheld technology to manage the delivery process
- Appropriately handle stressful driving demands including inclement weather conditions
- Must be able to work the weekends
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and be a team player
Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
- Load vans and deliver packages by driving, climbing in and out of the vehicle, walking upstairs and through driveways in all weather conditions, and deliver packages safely and punctually
- You can plan on working 3 to 4 days a week, in a 10-hour shift. Overtime is also available
- Navigate a variety of routes throughout the area with 150 - 200 stops a day.
- Follow strict safety standards on and off the road
- Solve problems independently using critical thinking skills
- Have a positive can-do attitude
- Operate a handheld electronic device for GPS, Communicating and daily records
- You will interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner
