Bales Security is looking for a Field Manager for the the Tampa Bay area. Our Field Managers must have a strong work ethic and must have a D and a G SECURITY LICENSE issued by the State of Florida at the time they begin employment. Additionally, the candidate must have appropriate equipment and reliable transportation.
The candidate needs to have a clean background. The candidate must also possess superior communication and customer service related skills, as they will be working closely with our team of officers and our clients on a daily basis.
Our Agency represents all manner of important client sites such as banks, communities, buildings, and other high-profile accounts. Qualifications:
The skills needed for this position include, but are not limited to:;
- Two years of management experience in a security environment: law enforcement or military experience preferred;
- Two years of armed security officer experience is preferred if the candidate does not possess law enforcement or military experience.
- Trained in the Florida School Guardian Program preferred.
- Proficiency in writing reports;
- Strong observation and quick decision-making skills;
- Proficiency in using electronics;
- Consistently wearing a clean, sharp uniform;
- High level of customer service skills;
- High level of communication skills

- Conscientious and dependable;
- Effective organizational skills, ability to handle multi-tasking assignments, and effective time management.
- Ability to work within a team environment;
- Flexibility, being open to change, and being optimistic with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Oversee security operations to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
- Manage conflict resolution and respond to incidents promptly.
- Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and maintain accurate documentation regarding sites and officers.
- Continuously train, coach, and mentor security officers at an assortment of sites and positions.
- Manage Timesheets and submit timesheets for approval.
- Interview and conduct onboarding briefings.
- Other duties as required.
Successful candidates must also be able to provide their own firearm. This is an immediate hire position.
