Duties
- Develop comprehensive community growth strategies aligned with organizational goals to increase engagement and membership
- Cultivate strong media relations by establishing partnerships with press outlets, influencers, and community leaders
- Lead public speaking engagements, webinars, and outreach events to promote community initiatives and foster visibility
- Manage social media platforms through targeted campaigns, content creation, and social media marketing efforts to expand reach
- Oversee community management efforts by moderating online forums, organizing volunteer programs, and supporting member retention
- Coordinate fundraising activities and business development opportunities to support community projects and initiatives
- Collect and analyze data on community engagement metrics to inform strategic decisions and optimize outreach efforts
Requirements
- Proven experience in community management, public relations, or related fields with a focus on growth initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messages across various channels
- Strong public speaking skills for representing the organization at events and media interviews
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with diverse audiences effectively
- Expertise in social media management, social media marketing, and digital content creation
- Demonstrated success in marketing, customer service, sales, or fundraising environments
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Experience in volunteer management, strategic planning, budgeting, and business development is preferred
