Overview
Part-time with possible advancement to full-time. Anticipate 20 hours per week initially.
We specialize in the treatment of musculoskeletal spinal conditions, using specialized medical-grade spinal rehabilitation equipment. Training and education will be provided for setting up and using the equipment and following the appropriate protocols.
All appointments are one-on-one for 60 minutes.
Duties
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the supervising therapist.
- Monitor patient progress and document treatment sessions accurately in accordance with care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about exercises, home care strategies, and discharge planning.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Set up specialized equipment for safe and effective exercise.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and physical therapy practices.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small group of healthcare professionals.
- Current CPR certification.
