Schedule: 36 hours/week
Shift: 12X3 Days
Weekly Gross Pay Range for Travel package including stipend: $2300.00 to 2500.00
Weekly Gross Pay Range for Local package: $2200.00 to $2350.00
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to incarcerated patients.
- Perform comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patient responses to actual or potential health conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing procedures in accordance with provider orders.
- Provide health education and patient counseling.
- Supervise and mentor Graduate Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and direct care staff.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Participate in treatment planning and health-related committees.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License (required; no exceptions).
- Current RN registration in New York State.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Ability to successfully complete the New York State Criminal History Clearance prior to start (processing may take up to 4 weeks).
