Responsibilities
- Lead daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, managing shift schedules, and ensuring smooth service flow.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality expectations across all kitchen stations.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Utilize Revel POS system for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting.
- Train and develop team members in food handling, customer service, food safety protocols, and operational procedures to foster a high-performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation practices across the restaurant.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to guarantee an outstanding dining experience.
- Conduct staff interviews, performance evaluations, and support ongoing training initiatives to build a motivated team.
- Assist in budgeting efforts by controlling labor costs, analyzing sales data, and implementing strategies for revenue growth.
- Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service & fast food or casual dining environments.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and kitchen management.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems; proficiency in cash handling is essential.
- Strong supervisory skills with demonstrated success in staff training & development and team management.
- Familiarity with inventory control practices and food safety regulations; certification in food handling preferred.
- Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing operational efficiencies.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel-related food service roles is advantageous.
